Logan began volunteering for Kindred Spirits back in 2006. After years of volunteering she became the Executive Director of Kindred Spirits back in 2010. A life long animal lover, she owes her vegan journey entirely to the bonds she created with the animals of Kindred Spirits.  That bond is what lead to Kindred Spirits becoming a totally vegan facility.

Tony came to Kindred Spirits Sanctuary as  a volunteer in 2006. He volunteered in many capacities from graphic design to fence building before joining our staff in 2017. He loves all animals but has a special soft spot for goats. Many of the goats who have come to Kindred Spirits as kids or very sick have spent time in the house under his watchful eye! When you come for a tour of the sanctuary he will most likely be your guide and his love for the animals and spreading a vegan message are evident with the energy he brings to each tour!

Gordy Jorian

A lifelong animal lover, now in his later years, Gordy (aka "Grandpa") is discovering more & more how loving an animal is expressed through honoring and respecting everything about who he/she is.

From wasps to cows, Gordy is continuing to find joy in deepening all his relationships. And what a better place than Kindred Spirits Sanctuary to cultivate that joy.

Gordy dedicated himself to the vegan lifestyle in 2010, and started volunteering at Kindred Spirits the following year. He soon became a fixture around here, and in 2015 joined our Board of Directors to help us ensure a forever home for all of our current AND future residents.

Contact Michelle >>

Michelle was a vegetarian for twelve years before learning about the horrors of the dairy industry and going vegan in 2015. After volunteering a few times, she started holding vegan potlucks at the sanctuary, where we learned that she would be a perfect fit as our Education and Outreach Coordinator. Her compassion and dedication to the residents at Kindred Spirits (and all animals) is much appreciated. She spends her free time with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Alecia and Brooklynn.

She originally hails from the United Kingdom immigrating to the USA in 1994 (which is why she has an awesome accent!) Since graduation, Dr Rogers’ passion has led to extensive care, surgery and internal medicine for farm animals. She has been described as a pioneer for farmed animal sanctuary medicine.

Dr. Rogers has a great love for the outdoors and animals that reside there. She has focused on farm animal surgery and internal medicine since graduation and has expanded her knowledge base to avian medicine and surgery since joining Kindred Spirits Sanctuary in April 2017.

In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her husband, Rutledge, and their two canine children Monty and Siggy. They all love hiking in the local woods, boating and any activity that involves the outdoors.
